Perkovic defeats big competitor Müller

The Croatian star proved that she’s one of the current best discus throwers – although big German competitor Müller stayed close behind. With a 64,89m throw Perkovic ensured the victory in the 4th try. Müller came close with a 63,60m fifth try but couldn’t beat the strong 21-year-old Croatian, who wasn’t that sure she could win before the competition: “I’m tired from travelling, first Shanghai, then Eugene and now here. But when I can throw nearly 65m despite being tired that is great for me.”
