Brothers target Bislett success
Brothers, Filip and Jakob Ingrebrigtsen, will be looking for local advantage when they compete in the Bislett Games on Thursday evening in Oslo; the fifth IAAF Diamond League qualifying meeting.

Karsten to Tackle Superstar (with an icon watching)
One of the sensations for Norwegian athletics in 2016 was the exciting development of Karsten Warholm. He started the season as a decathlete that dabbled in 400m and 400m hurdles. By the end of 2016, the twenty-one-year-old from Ulsteinvik had established himself as a major global threat at the 400m hurdles. Last season he broke the Norwegian record for 400m hurdles on numerous occasions. He achieved it at the European Championships in Amsterdam with a time of 48.84! Then he stepped up again at the Rio Olympics Games with another national record of 48.49 seconds and his only disappointment was to not earn a place in that final.

High Flyers Return to Bislett
The world’s finest men’s high jumpers return to Bislett stadium for a real showdown at Norway’s IAAF Diamond League competition. The gold, silver and bronze medallists from the Rio Olympic Games are all confirmed to compete in Oslo.

Dafne Bound for Bislett
The Netherlands’ “Golden Girl”, Dafne Schippers, the reigning World 200m Champion, will return to Bislett Stadium on the 15 June to compete in the 200m at the Oslo Bislett Games.

Twenty two year old Andre De Grasse is the latest in a long line of brilliant Canadian sprinters and now stands on the verge of taking over the mantle of the No.1 sprinter in the world. History will refer to the likes of Harry Jerome, Donovan Bailey and of more recently Bruny Surin as phenomenal sprinters who represented Canada and there is no question that De Grasse is of the same calibre.
