Information to Media 2023
Welcome to Wanda Diamond League Oslo - Oslo Bislett Games on June 15th 2023.
The official meeting hotel is Thon Hotel Opera. Media has to book hotel themselves through https://oslo.diamondleague.com/en/info/hotel/
Transportation from the airport:
We recommend using Flytoget / The Airport Express from Oslo Airport to Oslo Central.
If you will stay at Thon Hotel Opera this is located about 100 metres from the Oslo Central.
The Main Press Center will be at Thon Hotel Opera.
Opening hours will be:
Tuesday June 13th: 11:00-16:00 - but media staff will be available 08:00-22:00
Wednesday June 14th: 08:00-23:00.
Thursday June 15th: 08:00-14:00 and from 23:00 until bed time.
Accreditation pick up:
You can pick up your accreditation anytime in the opening hours of the MPC. Try to do it upon arrival. It is also possible to pick it up at the stadium before the meeting on Thursday if you come directly, but we hope as many as possible has done it before going to Bislett to avoid any queue.

We try to limit printing of start lists and results. You will find all this information on this website - Programme & Results.
Extended start lists (compact version) will be available, mainly for broadcasters, in print at MPC on Wednesday evening - on demand - when we receive these. If you want this please e-mail Morten Olsen morten and it will be printet and ready for pick up. @momsport.no
National Press Conference
Tuesday June 13 - Thon Hotel Opera, MPC.
There will be a short intro followed by 1:1 based on written request to morten not later than 23:00 June 12 with name of the media and requests. @momsport.no
12:00-12:30 Hedda Hynne, Karoline Bjerkeli Grøvdal and Line Kloster.
12:30-13:00 The Norwegian participants at 5000 meter men.
13:00-13:40 The Norwegian participants in long jump and pole vault men.
International Press Conference
Wednesday June 14 - Embassy of Hungary, Sophus Lies gate 3.
The Embassy of Hungary are hosting this press conference which also includes a lunch offered by the hosts.
12:00-14:00 Press conference men’s Hammer Throw as well as information about the 2023 World Championships in Budapest by Márton Gyulai, Executive Director of Sport Budapest 2023 and member of the European Athletics Executive Board.

International Press Conference

17:00-17:05 Opening by The Mayor of Oslo Marianne Borgen.
17:05-17:10 Introduction to talk show led by meeting director Steinar Hoen and Amalie Iuel.
17:10-17:35 Karsten Warholm (NOR), Femke Bol (NED), Wayde van Niekerk (RSA) and Erriyon Knighton (USA).
17:40-18:00 Yulimar Rojas (VEN), Jakob Ingebrigtsen (NOR), Armand Duplantis (SWE) and Shericka Jackson (JAM).
18:00 Strawberry Party starts.
19:00 Strawberry Party ends.
Transport to/from Bislett on competition day:
There will be buses from Thon Hotel Opera to Bislett on Thursday. Departure information will come later.
List of infield photographs will be published at MPC on Wednesday, as well as here on this site.

There will be a photo-briefing at Bislett on Thursday (time TBC) - mandatory for ALL infield photographs. Infield BIBs will be distributed on this briefing.
There is free WiFi on press tribune at the stadium and no cables.
You will receive your own WiFi-key when you arrive, as well as a remote CIS access code to be used on your computer.
There will be a few cable points mainly for photographs in the working room at the stadium as well as infield for photographs.
Working places at the stadium for WP:
All accreditated journalists will have their set seat with a shared table and 1 power access pr person in the stadium. Due to limited space and the close distance to the mixed zone and the track there is no TV/CIS on the working places. Based on experience from 2022 we have moved the working places some rows upward on the tribune for coverage if rain :)
There is also additional working places in the press room (same level as entrance).
