Accommodation:
Be aware that the official hotel for Oslo Bislett Games 2024 NOT is Thon Hotel Opera as normal.

Accreditation:

Your accreditation can be collected either at the MPC at Thon Hotel Slottsparken .
Or at the Press Center at Bislett Stadium prior to the meeting.

Press Center

MPC will be at Thon Hotel Slottsparken.

Opening hours:

Thursday May 30: 09:00-16:00.
Media Center at Bislett opens at 16:00 on Thursday May 30.

Arrival:

If you have chosen one of the hotels close to the official hotel take the Airport Express to Nationaltheateret Station. These hotels are in walking distance from the station.

From the hotels to Bislett:

From the hotels close to the official hotel you can walk to Bislett in 10-15 minutes.
Or you can use the tram from Holbergs Plass to Bislett (ask in your reception).
Your accreditation card is valid ticket inside zone one from Monday to Friday, so feel free to see Oslo.
There will be no official transport for media. You either walk or tram.

Web CIS

We do not have CIS on the media tribune but those who want can get their unique code for CIS on web in the media center on Thursday. Please ask our staff at the welcome desk either at the hotel or at the stadium.

We are green

We do not provide start lists or results on paper since we want to do our part of job to save the earth. If you need it you will have to print it before attending the meeting, but all info is available at the website. The only exception is the short version of the extended start lists for broadcasters. This must be ordered at the welcome desk at MPC before 19:00 on Wednesday.

Based on the facts that Oslo Bislett Games is a late evening meeting and that a lot of the athletes are travelling to Stockholm Friday morning, we have – together with Wanda Diamond League and World Athletics made some “rules” for how the mixed zone will work on the night of the meeting.

Mixed zone day of competition:

The athletes will as usually walk through the mixed zone after their competition.
Athletes who want a fast route can limit their time through the mixed zone to approximately 20 minutes after leaving the Right Holders-area. But it is up to one and each if they want to spend more time. Ask the mixed zone staff what thee athletes has choosen.

That means there will be 1:1 possibility for neither NRH nor WP if the athlete want a fast track. Then it will be like in championships when those who want to get comments make clusters.
