They seize the top six places in the World Ranking, have won what can be won, five of them have thrown over 70 meters and one has had a fantastic start to the season. The men's discus competition during the Wanda Diamond League at Bislett will be a foretaste of both this summer's European Championships in Rome and the Olympics in Paris.
Daniel Stål and Kristjan Ceh share fifth place in the discus all-time list with 71.86 and have won the last five global championships.
But Mykolas Alkena is more than ready to take over the throne - if he has not alreday done so. The LIthuanian started the season with 71.39 and a new European U23-record in early April - before he followed up with a new World Record of 74.35 in Oklahoma on 14 April. Thus, Mykolas and dad Virgilijus hold the first and third place on the all time list.
