On Tuesday, April 7, the Norwegian government decided that cultural and sporting events that cannot meet the requirement of two meters distance and groups of a maximum of five persons are banned until 15 June. This means that the Oslo Bislett Games cannot be arranged in its original form on Thursday 11 June.
"This is one of the scenarios we have planned for," says Steinar Hoen, the CEO of Oslo Bislett Games.
- Since Oslo Bislett Games is part of the Wanda Diamond League, with the commitments it entails, we must spend some time discussing different solutions with them before concluding. Our plan now is that by Wednesday, April 22, we will be able to provide detailed information about what is happening in relation to this year's event, and how all those who have purchased a ticket will proceed, he says.
