Although Ricketts is ranked number two in the world, one place ahead of Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk, the Ukrainian girl has so far, the best personal best of the starters.
Last season brought her into the exclusive 15-metre club, and she finished in second place in last year's world list with his 15.02.
She has gold from the European Championships last year, silver from the European Championships 2018 and World Championships 2019, fifth place from the 2021 Olympics and gold and silver from the indoor World Championships in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
Foremost among the competitors are Shanieka Ricketts and Tori Franklin, who came second and third in last year's World Championships in Eugene, and who, with 14.94 and 14.86 respectively, were third and fourth at the world lists last summer.
Ricketts also secured the gold medal in last year's Commonwealth Games and has World Championships silver from 2019. And with 14.98 from 2021 she is only two centimetres short of the magical 15-metre mark.
Another American athlete, Keturah Orji, has a personal best of 14.92 from 2021, and can look back on top six finishes from both the Olympics, World Championships and World Indoor Championships.
Jamaican Kimberly Williams holds the longest career at the top of the world among the participants in this year's Oslo Bislett Games. The 34-year-old has second place from the indoor World Championships in 2018 and bronze from the championship in 2014. She can also look back on a top six finish from the Olympics and three from the World Championships.
