During these 10 years, 10 new World Records in Athletics and 3 in speedskating was set in the Stadium. Grete Waitz with two records in the 3000 m and Sebastian Coe in the 800 m and the Mile. World Records by New Zealand 4x1500 m, Rick Wohlhuter in 1000 m, Anders Gärderud in 3000 m Steeple Chase, John Walker in 2000 m, Henry Rono in 5000 m and Thorill Gylder in 5000 m race walk.
