The Norwegian Terje Pedersen improved the Javelin Throw record two times in 1964, first with 87.12 m and then later same year with gigantic 91.72 m. Another massive improvement by the Aussie Ron Clarke, he improved his own 10 000 m WR from 28.14 to 27.39,4 m at Bislett in 1965. In the 6 Miles intermediate time in the same race, he set a new WR with 26.46,0.
