Swedish Armand Duplantis, who improved the world record to 6.22, and our own Sondre Guttormsen, who secured the European Championships gold indoors and became the latest addition to the exclusive list of jumpers who have cleared the magical six metres. These two are at the head of an exquisite start list for pole vault at the Wanda Diamond League meet at Bislett on 15 June where, at the time of writing, nine of the top ten in the world ranking are present.
From Bislett to Budapest
The men's hammer throw-competition during this year's Oslo Bislett Games will hopefully be a foretaste of the biggest event for the Hungarian home crowd when we get to this summer's World Championships in Budapest. Although it is not a Wanda Diamond League event at this year's meeting, the starting field oozes world class and which can almost be considered a dress rehearsal for the World Championships.

van Niekerk confirmed for Oslo Bislett Games

The women's turn to run the Bislett classic

This year it's the women's turn to have a go. For the first time since 2016.
