The 2013 event will take place June 13 as one of 14 meetings in the international IAAF Diamond League series. For ExxonMobil this will be the 26th time as title sponsor of the Oslo meeting. Long-term focus and cooperation are core values for ExxonMobil, which has operated in Norway since 1893. The many years of cooperation with the Bislett Alliance is part of this approach.
In parallel the Bislett Stadium has established itself among the very top venues of the IAAF Diamond League series, which include 14 well-known arenas in Europe, Asia and America. The Bislett Alliance, consisting of the athletic clubs BUL, Tjalve and Vidar, is a professional partner working hard to attract the very best athletes to the event at the Bislett Stadium.
“The Bislett Alliance’ focus on world class competition and their determined efforts to make each event even better than the previous one is easy to identify with”, says Meg E. O’Neill, who became general manager of ExxonMobil in Norway just in time to experience the ExxonMobil Bislett Games in June 2012. “Our company is run by the same principles.
