Bislett welcomes Rabat to the IAAF Diamond League

During the general assembly of the IAAF Diamond League March 2nd, the meet in Rabat, Morocco was officially included as one of fourteen meets in the IAAF Diamond League. Rabat will replace New York.

Rabat has been in a four-year application process and has been through many evaluations before they now got accepted in the top league of athletics. This is the first meet on the African continent in the Diamond League. This now makes the series a global one, as it will be included in the four largest continents. IAAF Diamond League Rabat will be held May 22^nd. ExxonMobil Bislett Games is held on June 9^th 2016.
