16 year old Jakob Ingebrigtsen against a field of high quality international runners from Kenya, Morocco and Belgium. Sub 4 minutes is in the cards for the Mile.

400mH<\/b>
Karsten Warholm is Norway’s biggest athletic talent but he faces a field of four Olympic finalists, including the reigning champion Kerron Clement of USA.<\/p>\n

High Jump<\/b>
The Olympic gold , silver and bronze medallists are gathered in Bislett for the first big showdown of 2017. Champion Drouin of Canada plus the precocious Barshim of Qatar and the super consistent Bondarenko of Ukraine. Four competitors in the field have jumped over 2.40m.<\/p>\n

The big man have come to Bislett to play
Two Olympic Champions \u2013 the Harting brothers from Germany \u2013 and the World Champion Malachowski of Poland are the fiercest of rivals and will face off in Bislett. The first time in many that this event has featured in the stadium.

WOMEN
200m<\/b>
Dutch superstar Daphne Schippers is the reigning World Champion at this event and will get tremendous competition from Ahour\u00e9 of Ivory Coast <\/p>\n

800m <\/b>
Gold, silver and bronze from the Rio Olympics \u2013 Semenya, Wambui and Niyonsaba will provide the sternest of test for the young Scandinavians \u2013 Hynne of Norway and Lindh of Sweden. Promises to be a very fast race.<\/p>\n

100mH<\/b>
Isabelle Pedersen is in career best form and can be pushed to a new record by Olympic bronze medallist Castlin of USA and two former European Champions Porter of Great Britain and Talay of Belarus.

3000m Steeplechase<\/b>
Chance for another Norwegian record with dual Olympic finalist (5000m and 10,000m ) Karoline Bjerkeli Gr\u00f8vdal aiming for a new mark. She will get tremendous competition from an African contingent lead by Assefa of Ethiopia and Ghribi of Tunisia, both are medallists at senior Championships.<\/p>\n

Pole Vault<\/b>
Olympic bronze medallist McCartney of New Zealand heads a field that includes World Championship medal winner Silva of Cuba and the super consistent Ryzih of Germany. Much interest in Angelica Bengtsson of Sweden who is developing into a real contender for a medal in the World Championships in London later this year.

Long Jump<\/b>
Tianna Bartoletta is absolute quality athlete \u2013 Olympic and World Champion and well capable of leaps in access of 7m. The field is loaded with competitors all capable of distances approaching that mark.<\/p>\n

Discus <\/b>
